More than 12 city centre eateries creating their most imaginative and delicious dishes (range from $8 - $12 each) alongside superb wine from Negociants & Church Road, sparkling goodness from S.Pellegrino and no fewer than seven craft breweries offering up intriguing brews for the day to quench your thirst and pique your curiosity.

Daikoku - “Abalone” escargot butter, seaweed, parsley, lemon or “Scotch Fillet” wasabi salsa, courgette, capsicum, bean sprout & “Salmon Saut” pesto sauce, charcoal bun (see image below)  


Toto's - 3 kinds of pasta cooked in a cheese wheel (see image below) - choice of with watercress pesto or fresh chili and lemon napolitana sauce and white parmigiana sauce with bruchetto flakes and parsley & Kiwi Tiramasu


Greentime - Cracked Coconut - Coconut rice burger with vegan egg & Black Banana - Black rice ‘Banana Split’ with vegan coconut ice cream (see image below) 


Scratch Bakers HQ - (5 tarts) caramalised popcorn, dark chocolate and popcorn custard; strawberry jam, goats milk custard and rhubarb marshmellow; roasted white chocolate custard with lavender meringue; espresso cardamom custard, coffee crumble and juniper syrup; caramalised banana jam, maple curd and crispy bacon (see image below)

1947 Eatery - Charred Paneer - Charcoal black paneer balls stuffed with fresh khoa, fruit and nuts in an addictive onion & tomato gravy & Bheja Fry- deepfried goats brain 
Oh My Cheese - Raclette - melted French cheese from the wheel on potatoes sauteed with garlic and butter & pickles 
Manila Eats - Black Adobo (black squid ink bun)- Chicken breast marinated in traditional soy sauce, vinegar and seasoning then deep fried for that oh so yummy crunch. Egg, onion relish, tomato, mesclun, special mayo
Pink Longganisa (pink beetroot bun - see image below)- sweet and flavourful pork. Grilled pork and garlic patty. Egg, tomato sauce, salad (mesclun, tomato) with pesto dressing
Green Pares (green spinach bun)- tender and juicy shredded beef. Slow cooked beef in soy sauce, star anis, and seasoning. Egg, tomato, mesclun, mayo

Be entertained by the antics and acrobatic skills of The Biggest Little Circus along with DJ Arii Jade - who has played at some of the coolest clubs and parties across New Zealand. This is an extraordinary event that you do not want to miss with inspired food creations, beverages and entertainment that will surprise and delight from start to the finish.

The Biggest Litte Circus Zane and Degge combine their world class juggling skills with their unique flavour of comedy! Zane and Degge have been performing side by side as a brotherly duo since the were small bald and round. Since hitting 6ft they have made it to the final of New Zealand’s got Talent, won the ‘Iron Chicken’ award at the World Buskers festival and toured all over New Zealand, Australia and Canada.

Rainbow Rascals Look out for professional body artist, Jane Ellis, who will be showcasing a human canvas live 
12.30 – 2.30pm The Pickups Duo
With a sound that traverses Stevie Wonder to Stevie Nicks, Prince to Michael Jackson, The Pickups duo offers something uniquely soulful and multidimensional. Along with performing as a full five piece band, Andy and Victor offer beautiful arrangements of songs performed by iconic male and female recording artists, stripped back to acoustic guitar and Victor’s distinct, limitless voice.

2.30 – 3.30pm Biggest Little Circus 

3.30 – 5.30pm DJ Belleville
Expect everything from dub and reggae to gypsy swing, cumbia and anything else DJ Belleville might be hiding under that giant hat of his.

5.30 – 7.30pm Arii Jade
Arii Jade is a Venezuelan born DJ/songwriter based in Auckland, New Zealand. Combining a mixture of dance, hiphop & eclectic sounds into her sets, she has played at some of the coolest clubs/parties all across the whole Australasia & Oceania.

Entry is just $5 at the gate (with children under 12 free with a paying adult) but if you get there early, you could be one of the first 2,000 through the door and get in for FREE.


This is your opportunity to try it all, so bring an appetite for adventure and be prepared to taste one-off dishes from a selection of great restaurants from the heart of the city. From cracked coconut rice burgers to black banana dessert, this will be a day of intrigue, fun and delicious exploration.
