girl.xu Art Studio is an independent art studio founded in 2017 by illustrator Sandy Xu.
The studio based on High Street in the city centre also doubles as a teaching space and conducts regular Open Studio Workshops. The goal of the studio is to provide a space to individuals of all ages and backgrounds who are interested in art to collaborate and learn. Sandy’s personal goal is to create a space that is welcoming where people feel inspired and comfortable to explore their own creativity.
LATE NIGHT ART:
Head to Girl Studio during Late Night Art this Artweek in the city centre for a studio tour and painting workshop, before heading outdoors to explore all the late night activities in the High Street and arts neighbourhood.

- 5 – 7pm:

- Portrait drawing and mini painting workshop (you’re your own piece of art) - 7 – 9pm:
