Have you ever wanted to take a peek behind the scenes at the incredible art found within the sumptuous Park Hyatt Hotel?

Well here’s your chance to admire the art, via this immersive experience where visitors are invited to discover the hidden gems on display around the hotel.

Your guide will talk you through the artwork - each piece tells its own amazing heritage story – and also explain the reason behind each purchase and what the art means to Park Hyatt Auckland.

View some incredible works including Peata Larkin’s statement piece in the lobby. The Light Box is 11m x 5.5m; a reflection on strength and protection, it is as mesmerising as it is soothing.

Other works include pouwhenua carvings by noted artists Wikuki Kingi and Lawrence Makaore.

Once you’ve basked in the beauty and power of the artworks, after the tour you’ll be escorted to The Living Room, one of the hotel’s popular dining rooms, where you can marvel at the breathtaking waterfront view, a work of art in its own right.

Then sit back and relax as the talented chefs take you on a culinary five-course afternoon tea journey, with a menu specially designed to merge past and present, nostalgia and modern cuisine, including an extensive tea list.
