New Zealand Youth Choir | 8 JUN | Free
Enjoy special performances by the Auckland members of the New Zealand Youth Choir as they respond to artworks in A Century of Modern Art on the exhibition’s opening weekend.The choir members will perform musical works inspired by artworks in the exhibition. Hear their special choral interpretations of Monet’s Water Lilies and Van Gogh’s Wheat Fields with Reaper, Auvers. This free concert will last approximately 50 minutes.

An enchanting experience for the whole whānau. From the creators of Silo Theatre’s much-loved production of Peter and the Wolf, in collaboration with visual artists Lissy and Rudi Robinson-Cole (Wharenui Harikoa), Taniwha bursts onto the stage in vibrant technicolour, packed with live music, puppetry, and videography. Featuring a revolving cast of narrators, get ready for a one-of-a-kind, magical experience in the theatre.
