Check out where to go for after work drinks this winter in Auckland's city centre. We've rounded up some of our favourite Lovebites of places to enjoy some drinks and nibbles.

Step back in time to a world of glamour, sophistication and the alluring notion of a secret speakeasy. The Gin Room is an ode to well crafted cocktails made from the finest produce and liquor in a space that is both welcoming and a stunning recreation of a 1920s gin parlour. It's also our favorite place for some crazy gin concoctions.

Whether you're a craft beer aficionado or you just appreciate a cold one on a hot day, Brothers Beer at City Works Depot is a great spot to head after work or on a sunny weekend afternoon. Sit down, order a tasting paddle and some dishes from their menu, and watch the onsite brewers hard at work.

Perched on the 3rd level overlooking Auckland’s Viaduct Harbour, you will find one of Auckland's best rooftop bars equipped with it's own brewery and twin tenpin bowling lanes. Head in for amazing views, drinking, eating, and some bowling.

Head to MASU, an award-winning Japanese robata restaurant and bar, to try some of Japan's best Sake. We recommend the $35 Sake Flight that includes 4 different flavours of sake.

The Jefferson is an exceptional whiskey bar offering a staggering selection of the refined amber liquid. If you feel overwhelmed choosing from approximately 600 bottles bottles, go for the Ardbeg Galileo - it's the only one that has been all the way to space and back.

The first beer ever poured in Auckland was poured at The Occidental and it has been the go to for beer dates all the way back to 1865. Experience a bit of history as well as a mouth-watering selection of Belgian beers on tap and by the bottle.
