The Maritime Museum July school holiday programme is inspired by their current exhibition The Journey of a Million Miles. The exhibition explores the journeys made by migrants to New Zealand and focuses on inspiring real-life experiences.
The programme includes Character Storytelling including music, make and take crafts and an interactive gallery trail. Visitors can choose to do all three activities or pick and mix.
The programme runs from 10am to 3pm daily, and activities are suitable for children aged 4 – 12.
