Windows of Imagination

Windows of the Imagination brings to life 179 artworks created by Auckland tamariki during the construction of the City Rail Link. Inspired by bedtime stories, night lights and the power of imagination, this giant projection transforms the façade of Te Waihorotiu Station into a series of imagined city rooms in a captivating six-minute video loop.

Wander closer and you'll discover children's artworks hanging on the walls of each room. While you're there, play a game of I Spy and search for 20 hidden trains, three pets, a pair of poi, an erupting volcano, a lighthouse, a giraffe, an anime cat, a kōtare, a quirky hamburger and a caterpillar train.
