In this three-hour masterclass, you’ll learn some of Peter’s Māori favourites, including creamed pāua and fry bread, twice-cooked kūmara with kawakawa pesto, hāngī pork with watercress and pumpkin broth and marae pudding with poached fruit and custard. Even better, you and the other chef's in training will all have a glass of Tohu Rewa (bubbles) together to kick off the long weekend!
As always, you’ll learn to cook wonderful dishes, discover new products from all around Aotearoa and the Pacific, have a lot of laughs and eat some great kai.
To note: please wear closed-toe shoes. Each bench take six people, so come as a group or meet some new people on the day. Please bring containers to take leftovers home. Some dietaries can be accommodated but please email here to check before booking.
