Come down to the lab at the New Zealand Maritime Museum these school holidays and meet fish scientist, Georgia Third!
You’ll peek inside a tāmure (snapper’s) puku and hold a real fish jawbone! This interactive 30 minute show will explain some fishy and not-so-fishy scientific terms and begin an investigative study suitable for all little lab assistants.
Afterwards, take a dip into our galleries with a fact-and-fish-filled trail.
Available on weekdays only. Bookings essential.
