Britomart are giving away thousands of native trees in Britomart's Takutai Square from 08-10 April.
Planting trees is one of the many ways we can each take action to mitigate climate change. It’s an easy and incredibly satisfying way to help make a difference. That's why Britomart are giving away thousands of native trees in Britomart's Takutai Square: because it gives people the opportunity and know-how to help tackle climate change by planting their own.
The trees on offer have been raised from seeds in the nursery at The Landing, the 1,000-acre Bay of Islands heritage estate that’s under the stewardship of the same team behind the patient regeneration of Britomart.
Britomart are encouraging donations to the Motutapu Restoration Trust to support the incredible work they do in the Hauraki Gulf. Anyone can come and collect one or two trees and make a donation with cash or via the Westpac tap-and-go terminals.
