The Auckland Yoga Academy offers various forms of the discipline at their centrally located studio.
- Ashtanga Yoga a dynamic system which gracefully synchronizes breathing and movement. Its objective is to promote a strong, flexible body and focused mind.
- Hatha Yoga and Meditation - Each Hatha Yoga class has a theme (standing poses, sitting poses, back bends or abdominal strengthening poses) between the inversions which are usually handstands and headstands at the beginning of the class and shoulder stands before the relaxation period at the end of the class.
- Yoga for expectant mothers - The sequencing and poses in this class are designed to help with the pregnancy and birth and work to promote strength and relaxation.
