Ostro and Veuve Clicquot present the classic high tea re-imagined for those who want some fun in their cucumber sandwiches. Josh Emmet and Veuve Clicquot have collaborated to create a modern take on a much loved classic including incredible savouries and mind blowing sweet things.
On your savoury plates expect to see spanner crab and caviar, Manuka smoked chicken, Glory Bay salmon and the intriguingly named ‘magic mustard’ – enough to get your curiosity tingling and your mouth watering. And when you shift gears to the sweets, allow room for tamarillo vanilla tart, yoghurt panna cotta, feijoa compote, Anzac crumble and more.Over a dozen different taste sensations make this high tea unsurpassed in the city.
And the main event? Swap out your cups of tea for glasses of chilled Veuve Clicquot champagne and bubble and banter and sparkle n pop the afternoon away perched high on the rooftop in Britomart. The highest of the high teas is at Ostro - so charge your glasses and let’s get classy.
