Health Nut Kitchen is now closed.
Health Nut Kitchen was born out of owners Luke and Brogan’s interests as a personal trainer and nutritionist for convenient, simple and nutritious food options.
They identified a need for more healthy on the go options in Auckland city, making it easier for people to access quality, wholesome food during a busy day.
They set out with a goal to blur the lines between health and fast food and to provide food that people could eat regularly without feeling guilty, both for their health and their pocket.
Options range from shakes that can be made into smoothie bowls, breakfast bowls, wholemeal chocolate waffles with homemade cashew cream to plant-based protein-packed veggie bowls and daily healthy treats.
Each item is designed to ensure a balance of healthy fats, protein, fibre, antioxidants and leaving out processed or refined ingredients.
The menu is completely vegetarian with vegan options available, promoting the power and deliciousness of real, plant-based food.
Where possible, ingredients are sourced locally so customers can have a closer connection to where their food comes from.
Organic Fair-Trade Peoples coffee fits perfectly with the concept, alongside Mamas Kombucha and organic Love Tea.
Whether you want to grab and sit out in Freyberg Square, or stay for a while and enjoy the laid-back interior, Health Nut Kitchen will leave you feeling better for it.
