Paceracer designs every detail to every 100th of a millimeter from inception, & handcrafts every watch in Auckland. Almost every step of the process uses custom tools designed for the particular task.

Custom Rubicon - A Collaboration

The Paceracer Rubicon is a tribute to enduring the journey of time, celebrating the union of two stories into one.

Crafted with New Zealand greenstone, each piece is meticulously shaped through an intricate process of patience, precision, and perseverance, just as a lasting bond is built over time. Rubicon is customizable in gold, platinum, or natural hardwood, ensuring every piece tells a story worth wearing. 

Bespoke commissioned artwork from Graham Tipene for the client has been finely incorporated into a carved dial.  Encasing this union is New Zealand pounamu. The case back features Graham Tipene’s artwork, with engraving capturing a personal anecdote of the couple. 

Crafting the Paceracer Rubicon has been one of Paceracers most challenging and rewarding journeys. With no greenstone experts willing to take on the task, they dedicated themselves to developing the techniques needed to shape this delicate material with precision and care.
