Join in an interactive and creative journey through the hidden and visible waterways of Tāmaki Makaurau.
In this hands-on, free drop-in activity, whānau will trace the pathways of wai from freshwater sources (Waitī) to the ocean (Waitā), uncovering the history of streams that once flowed beneath our city.
Using historical maps and artistic exploration, participants will map these waterways, reflect on human impact, and contribute to a growing collective artwork celebrating the significance of wai in our environment.
