The world-renowned British octet VOCES8 will perform two public concerts in Auckland, each with a unique programme, on Sunday 12 and Tuesday 14 July 2020.
In New Zealand for the first time, and in the city to headline the 12th World Symposium on Choral Music (11-18 July 2020), VOCES8 is celebrated around the globe for its rich, blended sound and charismatic style.
With a catalogue of acclaimed recordings that have reached the top of the classical charts, including everything from 13th Century choral music to its own jazz and pop arrangements, VOCES8 maintains a busy concert schedule while continuing to release new music.
This brilliant, young a cappella ensemble, formed in 2003 by former choristers of the Westminster Abbey Choir, will perform two entertaining programmes drawn from a repertoire that ranges across many centuries, countries and vocal styles.
