The evening will focus on three sets on winemaking discussions:
Winemaking Technique - Pinot Gris from the 2018 vintage. This will look at the same fruit, two ways: In the standard Valli Pinot Gris and also in the Real McCoy Orange Wine.
Seasonality - Riesling from their brilliant Waitaki vineyards. This will look at 2019 which is a leaner style and then the 2015 which is a Late Harvest Riesling.
Site Expression - here we will compare their FOUR single-vineyard Pinot Noirs: Gibbston, Bendigo, Bannockburn and Waitaki
and then to finish off we will be tasting through the EXTREMELY LIMITED Waitaki Chardonnay.
That makes for 9 wines to be enjoyed along with bread, cheese and of course the company of Jen Parr who will talk you through her amazing wines.
