Join us for an after-hours film screening of a selection of Queer cinema, bought to you by Breaking Boundaries and Auckland Libraries.
Our screens are dominated by Eurocentric perspectives of significant queer milestones - coming out, questioning our sexuality, transitioning our gender identities. But what are these experiences like for people from diverse cultures? Religious backgrounds? Varying socio-economic circumstances? We've chosen four documentaries that will leave you feeling a little more connected to the global Queer community - we are all in this together after all.
They will also be offering out free vegan ice cream sundaes, and Queer-life Stories - the latest edition of Lib-life Stories!
$2 per hour to a max of $12 on weekends and a $12 flat rate for weekday evenings at The Civic car park. Find out more.
