Toi Tū Toi Ora: Contemporary Māori Art - the largest exhibition at the Auckland Art Gallery to date, is taking to the streets.

Featuring over 300 artworks by 120 Māori artists, Toi Tū Toi Ora: Contemporary Māori Art is the largest exhibition in the 132-year history of Auckland Art Gallery Toi o Tāmaki. The major exhibition has been open at the inner city gallery since Saturday, 5 December 2020 and will be open until May 9, 2021.

Until April 20, 4 lightboxes are on display in Freyberg Square and 8 in Bledisloe Lane, featuring some of the incredible pieces that are up in the gallery.

Come on in to the city centre and explore the works, as darkness sets in, the lightboxes will glow behind the art - simply stunning!
