Australasia’s longest running stage show The Ten Tenors will return to New Zealand for an 11-date tour in 2023, performing at the Aotea Centre on April 30. 

Formed in 1995, The Ten Tenors are the world’s longest running classical crossover act. The musical ensemble have toured extensively nationally and internationally, with just under 3,500 shows across 34 countries under their belts. Their signature brand of music featuring 10-part harmonies has been enjoyed by more than 90 million people worldwide.

The TenTenors have sold more than 2.8 million concert tickets and become renowned for their dynamic, choreographed performances, and skillful ability to seamlessly transition from operatic arias to soulful ballads through to chart-topping pop and rock songs.
 
The Ten Tenors have shared the stage with iconic artists including Lionel Richie, Rod Stewart, Andrea Boccelli, Willie Nelson, Alanis Morissette and Christina Aguilera. They have also appeared extensively on TV, including The Today Show, Oprah’s Australian Adventure, and Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, as well as the Jerry Lewis MDA Telethon for an audience of 32 million viewers and the 2012 UEFA Cup in Warsaw, Poland.
 
With 15 albums released, the group has sold over 1.2 million albums worldwide, with three going platinum and four gold, as well as three platinum-selling DVDs. They also released their holiday album Our Christmas Wish in 2015 to raise funds for the St Jude Children’s Hospital, raising over $645,000 for ongoing research efforts.
