Ngāti Te Ata Waiohua Artist, Paora Puru has designed a custom lighting sequence which wraps around the new building at One Queen Street. The lights are a visual representation of the Matariki star cluster, celebrating and acknowledging the beginning of a new year according to the Māori lunar calendar.
The new One Queen Street lighting display compliments the custom orange and blue lighting sequence of the PwC Tower which represents a new dawn.
The lights will be visible from 5pm–11pm and 5am–7am daily over the period.
