Sustainability is at the heart of New Zealand Fashion Week in 2019 and we’re excited to present a selection of designers and organisations that showcase some different ways we can use fashion and textiles to make a positive impact on the world and our environment.
From upcycling, handmade artistry, the latest in fabric innovations and production techniques, to vintage; it’s a showcase of new ideas and what we as consumers can do to support the sustainable movement. Featuring brands such as: Greatest Friend, Nope Sisters, Aurai Swim and more!
In partnership with the Auckland Council and the Central City Library Tāmaki Pātaka Kōrero, the Fashion Weekend Sustainability Show will live beyond Aotea Square in a collaboration that speaks to the showcased sustainable messages via a design exhibition within the library space.
The Sustainability Show and accompanying Auckland Council activity are set to be highlights on the NZ Fashion Weekend calendar.
$2 per hour to a max of $12 on weekends and a $12 flat rate for weekday evenings at The Civic car park. Find out more.
