Silo Park is looking forward to a special day celebrating the youngest members of its community of good times, and hosting the APRA AMCOS and Recorded Music NZ's Children’s Music Awards this Sunday. The awards will be presented by Silo Stories favourite Suzy Cato, with performances from Anika Moa, Levity Beet, Itty Bitty Beats and Claudia Gunn, as well as a visit from Moe from The Moe Show. 

Amongst an afternoon of crafty kids activities and classic Kiwi games, the APRA Children’s Music Awards finalists will be performing live. Anika Moa, Levity Beet, Itty Bitty Beats and Claudia Gunn will take to the stage from  2 - 3pm, before Suzy Cato announces the APRA Best Children's Music Song, Recorded Music NZ Best Children's Music Album, and NZ On Air Best Children's Music Video. 

Mikey Havoc will also be entertaining young listeners with Silo Stories from 1 - 2pm, reading Roald Dahl's Esio Trot, and Moe from The Moe Show will be joining the fun and festivities from 2 - 4pm. The Silo Produce Market will be running until 3pm, as well as delicious street food from the Food Space food trucks, and the Silo Park Bar serving Mums and Dads all afternoon.

  • 1 - 2pm - Silo Stories: Mikey Havoc reads Roald Dahl's Esio Trot 
  • 2 - 3pm - Performances from APRA Children's Music Awards finalists Anika Moa, Levity Beet, Itty Bitty Beats, Claudia Gunn
  • 2 - 4pm - Moe from The Moe Show,
  • 3:15 - 3:45pm - Suzy Cato presents the APRA Children's music awards
  • 3:45 - 5:00pm - Kids music playlist, classic Kiwi games 
  • All day - Silo Park Crafty Zone, One Trick Pony illustration workshop, Albany Junior High School games, face painting, food trucks, Silo Park Bar.
