Join the APO and Auckland’s favourite high energy, comedy dance troupe Dynamotion for Carnival of the Animals as you’ve never seen it before.
Saint-Saëns’ much-loved Carnival of the Animals is a humorous orchestral suite of fourteen pieces. This musical menagerie, packed with majestic lions, braying donkeys, stately elephants, bouncing kangaroos, a serene swan and an aquarium of glimmering fish, gets a fresh, fun-filled update.
This will be a wonderful interactive show for the whole family. Super-talented, playful Dynamotion dactors (dancing actors) including Chris Parker, Alice Canton and Tom Sainsbury, also choreographed by Tom and Lara Fischel-Chisholm, will guide you through the magical musical score, bringing the animals to life through outrageous movement, costumes and puppets.
Recommended for ages 6 - 10.
$2 per hour to a max of $12 on weekends and a $12 flat rate for weekday evenings at The Civic car park. Find out more.
