The Lions Series 2017 Showed Live at Queens Wharf Fanzone

For the DHL New Zealand Lions Series 2017, Queens Wharf will come alive with live match screenings, free entertainment, live performances, exhibitions and family-friendly activities, and food and drink for sale.

Mix with fellow rugby fans, share the buzz of the Series at the Queens Wharf Auckland Fanzone, and enjoy the best of New Zealand culture.

Match screenings will include the three Test matches live, Hurricanes v The British & Irish Lions live, and replays of classic matches.

The country’s biggest fanzone with live match screenings, free entertainment, performances, exhibitions and family-friendly activities. Includes two photographic exhibitions – Peter Bush ‘Hard on the Heels’ and long-time press photographer Barry Durrant. DHL Dome features New Zealand’s staggering array of current rugby trophies, including the Web Ellis Trophy (the Rugby World Cup) on display 6-8 July.

Choir Day, with the Welsh Male Choir and others.

Friday 30 June, 8pm
New Zealand music legend Annie Crummer brings together a line-up of Kiwi stars including Che Fu, Opshop’s Jason Kerrison and Betty Anne Monga performing their biggest hits plus songs by fallen stars like David Bowie, Prince, George Michael and more.

Saturday 1 July, 12pm
Te Taumata Kapa Haka, in conjunction with Matariki Festival. Thrilling, live performances by New Zealand’s best kapa haka groups.

Saturday 1 July, 6pm
Rising, young Māori performers TEEKS and Maimoa Music.

Friday 7 July, 8pm
Motown band Motor City Family Funk.
