Saturday 30 June marks the inaugural Puna Kai tastebud experience, happening down on the Eastern Viaduct in the city centre.
Iin honour of the rising of Pleiades, eight of Auckland’s top food trucks will share their edible creations with a traditional Māori twist.
Menu items include Manuka smoked salmon crepes with traditional spices, Green Lipped Mussels barbequed on a wood fire, and Kawakawa infused sorbet, the leaves of which are hand picked by Lalele Organics.
Between 12pm and 4pm, expect to indulge in delicious food, take part in a food-related workshop, enjoy games with the kids and relax with an exceptional DJ set from Kina Cuts.
