This December, in celebration of the 20th anniversary since the epic conclusion of the third and final instalment in the trilogy, "The Return of the King", Wētā Workshop Unleashed are hosting a special screening of the movie with alternative commentary from their esteemed company founders, Richard Taylor and Tania Rodger.
Wētā Workshop invites all denizens of Middle-earth to join them for a momentous gathering in their hallowed, award-winning sanctuary, for film and festivities.
What to expect: An exclusive and unique screening of The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King in Wētā's award-winning space with alternative commentary of the film from special guests and Wētā Workshop founders, Richard Taylor and Tania Rodger.
Hear behind-the-scenes tales from the epic movie, whilst being surrounded by the fantasy worlds, miniature castles, landscapes, characters, robots, spaceships, and creatures housed in the movie-making experience. A truly unique space to watch the film. There's also a pre-movie event with themed characters, Special Effect applications, a food and drink bar, photo opportunities, and deals on Wētā Cave items for you to enjoy.

Where to go: We will be hosting this long-expected party at Wētā Workshop Unleashed! Located on level 5 at 88 Federal St, Auckland (opposite the SkyTower).
