Calling all 9-13 year olds!  The Central City Library is opening its doors to immerse you in all the cool stuff they have behind the scenes. Being a librarian is about so much more than books.

Spend your school holiday book making with their Preservation team, making stop motion movies with their green screen in the Makerspace, 3D printing bookmarks, finding treasures in the basement, and going on field trips around the CBD.

The Central City Library have teamed up with partners like the Auckland Art Gallery, Academy Cinema, Brain Play and the Civic to provide some unforgettable experiences.

Join them for this unique programme that fuses art, STEM, performing art, photography, creative expression, and a thirst for knowledge at your Downtown Library.

Please join us for a special whānau showcase with film screening, prizegiving, and a late afternoon tea after the programme ends on Thursday, 24 April, from 3 to 4:30 PM. This will be a chance to kōrero, connect, and highlight what participants have created.

Space is limited. Register today. Participants are encouraged to attend all 4 days. Please advise if you will attend less than the four days.

Ticket information:
The total price for four days will be $120. Three financial hardship scholarships are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. If you need financial assistance, please email centrallibraryevents@aucklandcouncil.govt.nz and we will do our best to accommodate you.
