Showcasing a 2 1/2 hours program of the most heartfelt, inspiring and entertaining films celebrating adventurous women from independent film makers around the globe.
Featuring a unique selection of films of varying lengths and styles, covering topics relevant to women in the outdoors the Gutsy Girls Adventure Film Tour will connect with both the avid adventurer and the armchair adventurer alike.
The 2020 tour showcases climbers, Liz Oh and Rosia Hohnen as they attempt to tackle one of New Zealand’s most intimidating peaks, The Tusk, in a film by New Zealand filmmaker and winner of the Gutsy Girls Adventure Filmmaker Grant, Olivia Page; we’ll also follow Lisa Beasley’s journey from adrenaline-seeking BASE jumper to ocean conversationalist; in addition to those we’ll be joining three women as they follow the migration path of a pregnant doe through the backcountry of Wyoming; and then getting an insight into the life of the one and only professional female boxer in Uganda. With 6 incredible films in this year’s line up, this year’s tour is full of adventure and trailblazing Gutsy Girls.
