Growing your own food is yum in the tum and good for the wallet, but inner-city living makes this tough... or does it? In this workshop you’ll learn the secrets of brewing the perfect bottle of ginger beer!
Brought to you by Rebekah from Hakanoa Handmade and the Auckland Central City Library Makerspace, this beginner’s workshop will delve into how fermentation can be used to create this delicious drink! It all starts with a ‘bug’, the bacterial culture that produces all the yum stuff.
You’ll come away with a recipe or two, and a ginger bug to get started with making this at home!
