The beer:
The Coconut Island Pale Ale (CIPA) - South Pacific Pale Ale - 4.6%
Citrus & Stonefruit + Coconut + Light & Refreshing
A light and refreshing Pale Ale with flavours of the Pacific. Sweet citrus and stone fruit upfront and coconut at the back.
Malts: Gladfield Lager Light, Wheat
Hops: Pacifica
Extra: Toasted Coconut
The collab:
Our Relationship started with Dale the head brewer, "If you had to do any Collab Beer with anyone, who would it be?" Dale replying "Ohhh it would have to be the one and only Hatman" The reason why? "Because he does the most amazing hats known to man". This had led to our first Collab beer with Hatman being a IIPA 9.1%, needless to say we started off with a bang!! The event had completely packed out the brewery with all handcrafted hats flying around. The relationship has only grown, leading to the Rare Beer Prestitation Cap Trophy - Which will now be happening every year.
