Returning stronger than ever, Festival of Live Art (F.O.L.A) is back in Tāmaki Makaurau for the first time since 2023 for four full days and nights of boundary-pushing creativity! Check out the 2025 Schedule.
Born from the artistic underground, F.O.L.A is a haven for the misfits, punks and menaces of the art world. Prepare for otherworldly performances, exhibitions, rituals and dance floors from the wildest, most exciting Queer and BIPOC artists from Aotearoa and beyond. Click here for more programme details.
Among the many highlights are a vibrant selection of free events, including the playful Art Brats' (Potluck) Art Brunch, the celestial Fetū x Fetu’u, and the hauntingly evocative Surprising the Necropolis.
The programme also features the Aotearoa debut of the cult favourite Queer PowerPoint, alongside standout performances such as BTM The Voice, Glory Whole, and a host of other unexpected delights.
But F.O.L.A is more than a festival — it’s a movement. It’s about building a community of artists and safeguarding their artform, livelihoods and legacies by pioneering new models where artists can truly flourish.
