December 15, 24 and 25

St Matthew-in-the-City is a spirited place where people stand, connect, and seek common ground.

The beautiful neo-Gothic stone church has European and medieval features, and is the only church of its kind in New Zealand with vaulted stone ceilings. St Matthew’s has occupied the same central city site since 1848, and the current stone church was built in 1905.
