Renowned chef Ben Bayly has travelled New Zealand gathering
inspiration for the menu of his new restaurant Ahi. His journey was
so inspiring, it’s been turned into a TV3 show - A New Zealand
Creating a live Auckland version of that concept, Ben has put
together an event that honours the producers from around Tāmaki
Makaurau who have helped shape Ahi’s beautiful dishes.
Ahi – Te Reo for fire – will open in early spring and promises to
be one of Auckland’s hottest new eateries. Set in downtown’s new
Commercial Bay complex, the views out to the Waitemata Harbour
will stimulate your appetite as Ben fires up your hunger for
knowledge – and food, of course.
This interactive dining experience will feature a beautifully crafted
tasting menu displaying the finest delicacies from this rich region,
with dishes presented by the producers themselves and matched
with local wines.
