On display in Little High Street for Art in the City, this sculpture is a series of three windows, with each one encapsulating one of the concepts of LOVE, HOPE and JOY.

Each piece captures a mood of rejuvenation, renewal and hope while inserting a little bit of colour and joy into a grey space. Windows are gateways into other worlds, symbolising opportunity and crossing over to freedom. The latticework on these windows combines the motifs of sacred architecture, sacred geometry and the floral aspects of Spring. They all point to the glimpses of hope and new life as we cross the threshold between winter and spring, what has been and what is to come.

Love, Hope and Joy is an installation created by artist Rosemary Petterson.
