Unconquerable is a time travel story in which a truck driver grapples with the perennial question of whether our lives are shaped by fate or the choices we make. It's also a story of a truckie picking up some of the oddest hitchhikers he's ever met.
Taking the stage are familiar faces and first-time performers from the company. Developed with Acacia O’Connor and Roy Iro, based on stories from the collective.
Hobson Street Theatre Company is an award-winning theatre company created in partnership with the Auckland City Mission – Te Tāpui Atawhai, with an aim to tell stories full of manawa (heart), wairua (soul) and whakakata (humour).
