Melbourne Cup at Aka Rooftop

For the first time! Melbourne Cup comes to Aka Rooftop — fifteen floors above Auckland's CBD, on New Zealand's largest rooftop terrace.

Doors open at midday with a glass of G.H. Mumm on arrival. Racing runs across the afternoon on screen, with a live band, an MC, and the TAB as Aka's official partner.

Aka's kitchen sends Pan-Asian canapés through the afternoon, with a set lunch for Premium and VIP guests. There are prizes for Best Dressed in two categories, spot prizes, and a sweepstakes.
