Recipient of the prestigious Polar Music Prize in 2023 – the ‘Nobel Prize of Music’ – Kidjo’s recent highlights include the powerhouse musical Yemandja, an Afrobeat reimagining of the Talking Heads’ Remain in Light, and the critically acclaimed album Mother Nature, made in collaboration with the next generation of leading African musicians.
