Gochu, Commercial Bay | $50 for a three course sharing style lunch

Meaning chilli pepper in Korean, Gochu serves fresh, flavour-filled Korean Cuisine, modern wines, cocktails and good times. It's a perfect place to go with a group for casual dining but excellent, award-winning eats. Their Sunday Lunch sharing style menu includes 3 courses (5 dishes) for $50 per person, with dishes including cured salmon, fried chicken sliders, crispy eggplant, charred chicken and their Gochu salad. Paname Social, Lorne Street | $35 for a Sunday lunch + mimosa

Paname Social is a trendy new wine bar and bistro on Lorne Street in the newly renovated HQ Building. Their Restaurant Month menu is a great chance to get to know the establishment and is super affordable at just $35 which includes a mimosa. Origine, Commercial Bay | $70 for a Sunday lunch grazing menu

Origine is a great choice for a special occasion Sunday lunch with loved ones. Intersecting classical French cuisine and a modern local approach to cooking, it's run by acclaimed chef and restauranteur Ben Bayly, his wife Cara, Ahi's Chris Martin, and his French-born wife, Lucile Fortuna. The Lodge Bar presents a carefully curated offering of New Zealand's finest wines to be enjoyed with their intricately prepared food menu. Sunday Lunch at Rooftop at QT event 

At QT's Sunday lunch event, work your way through a selection of tapas, flat breads with tomato, oregano and oozy Manchego cheese, piquillo red peppers, gildas and chorizo croquettes. Plates of traditional and vegetarian paella will be piled high, to be washed down with your choice of sangria, spritzer, bellini or rosé.
