On November 8, Aucklanders will have their senses bathed in a stunning fusion of electronic music set against a backdrop of spectacular visual art that will light up the Auckland Live Digital Stage in Aotea Square.
Created and performed by award-winning duo, French installation artist Antoine Schmitt and electronic composer/musician Franck Vigroux, the pair will synchronise by eye and ear to create a stunning audiovisual concert that is both hypnotic and other-worldly; incorporating cutting edge electronic technology, sound design, and explosive visuals in an epic free outdoor electronic music event.
Chronostasis will start at 7.30pm with local electronic artists Tom Ludvigson (Splore) and Kim Newall (Laneway, Art in the Dark) who will create an audiovisual meditation inspired by Franck Vigroux’s new album Totem.
Aotea Square will be set up for audiences to relax on beanbags in front of the Digital Stage and the BOX Container Bar & Café will be open to satisfy all your taste sensations.
Chronostasis will have your neurons firing on a whole new level and leave you blissed out and ready for summer in Tāmaki Makaurau.
