Originally built for the Rugby World Cup 2011 and located close to the Britomart Transportation Centre and the Auckland Ferry Terminal - the Cloud is in prime real estate as well as being central to the booming precincts of Britomart, and Wynyard Quarter.
Visible from the harbour, this visual reference of a cloud, is an emblem synonymous with Aotearoa - 'the land of the long white cloud'. Even once inside the venue you can enjoy magnificent harbour views from the comfort of a weatherproof space.
Having been open for the America's Cup final and Rugby World Cup screenings; this really is the place to be for the atmosphere and the crowd if you are sports-mad.
The venue is a place where you can play games, and enjoy participating in regular events (ticketed and free) as well as sporting activities and the like. With the capacity to hold a crowd of 5,000 the venue has a mezzanine and can be used in one or all of four parts, fit for various purposes.
