From the team behind Amber, a contemporary cafe-bistro located in Point Chevalier, comes their little sister Wander.
Wander is a really cute European inspired all-day eatery located in Wynyard Quarter.
The brunch menu includes croissants with yuzu jam and butter, croque-madame, the quintessential French equivalent of a ham and cheese toastie, with a fried egg on top and a side of fries and salad or even one of the French's favorite, oeufs à la coque (boiled eggs) with cured salmon gravlax, crème fraîche and polenta soldiers.
The bistro menu (available from 11am till late) includes main dishes such as soupe du jour, fish & chips, chicken cordon bleu, house smoked Trevally rillettes and steak frittes to name a few.
