Yoga explores the expansiveness of what it is to be human – mind, body, spirit – in a non-competitive practice that allows individuals their own unique inquiry into the fascinating enigma of life.
The hour-long Hatha yoga classes the Gallery offers will include warm-up stretching, building to stronger poses, including flow balance and breath focus. Warming down will lead into breath practice, ending with a brief relaxation or meditation. The practice and practice space is open to beginners as well as more experienced yogis aged 14 years and over.
Penny Hacking completed her Hatha yoga teacher training through Ashram Yoga Auckland. She has undertaken Mental Health Awareness Training and holds a current First Aid Certificate.
