This event has sold out!

Kia ora koutou katoa,

We are excited to host an amazing line up of wāhine speakers in a few weeks time, to discuss women's safety in the city.

Speakers include Stacey van der Putten from Auckland Transport, Sara Bekhit and Emma McInnes from Women in Urbanism Aotearoa, Amanda Gilmore from Uber and Fatumata Bah from Inspiring Stories - with more speakers to be announced.

We will be discussing the intersecting issues of urban design, policing, street harassment and transport safety. The speakers will be followed by a panel discussion on women's safety in the city, facilitated by Heart of the City's Chief Executive, Viv Beck.

There will be drinks and snacks provided.

From 5.30pm on 4 November at Workshop 2, upstairs at 12 Madden Street, Wynyard Quarter.

We hope to see you there!
