Get ready, Auckland! Multi-platinum alt-rock trio Wallows are bringing their biggest global headline tour, the Model Tour 2024, to Aotearoa this December.
Wallows are celebrating the release of their highly anticipated third studio album, *Model*, produced by John Congleton (known for his work with St. Vincent and Sharon Van Etten). The album drops on May 24 via Atlantic Records.
The Model World Tour kicks off with 38 dates across North America, Europe, and the UK, including debut performances at iconic venues like New York City's Madison Square Garden and London’s Alexandra Palace. Their previous AU/NZ tour in 2022 sold out quickly, so be sure to grab your tickets as soon as they go on sale!
Wallows—Dylan Minnette, Braeden Lemasters, and Cole Preston—have been making music together since they were 11 years old, starting in LA's Join the Band program nearly two decades ago. In March 2022, they released their sophomore album, *Tell Me That It’s Over*, produced by three-time GRAMMY Award-winner Ariel Rechtshaid (Vampire Weekend, Haim, Adele). This album continued their sonic evolution, blending lo-fi post-punk, indie-folk, and early '90s dance-pop psychedelia.
Their debut album, *Nothing Happens*, also produced by John Congleton, was one of 2019’s highest streamed debuts. Wallows have headlined sold-out shows worldwide and performed at major festivals like Coachella, Lollapalooza, and Reading and Leeds.
