India's biggest stand-up comedian and Bollywood star Vir Das is coming to New Zealand on his world tour with his new show ‘Wanted’! Hailed by Variety magazine as one of the "Top 10 Comics To Watch”, Vir has quickly become a global comedy sensation being the first Indian comedian to have a Netflix special. Vir now has 4 Netflix specials and an Emmy nomination.
Vir has traversed the globe on his various stand-up tours, performing on six continents, including sold-out runs in Australia and at London's prestigious Soho Theatre. He has also been featured at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival as well as the Montreal Just For Laughs comedy festival and has made multiple television appearances on Conan.
Outside of his Bollywood films, Vir has starred in many television series, including Whiskey Cavalier, Fresh Off the Boat, and the Netflix series Hasmokh, which Vir created and executive produced.
