A Mexican tequila fiesta is coming to Auckland this November. Say hello to Tequila, Now! A Mexican fiesta by Jose Cuervo, designed to showcase the spirit in all its glory.
Located in the Viaduct, Tequila, Now! will bring Mexico to life in the viaduct, with a celebration of food, music, games and, of course, tequila!
Each Sunday, from 6 to 20 November, Frida Cocina Mexicana & Tequila Bar in Auckland, is giving visitors the opportunity to get a real taste of the misunderstood spirit via a bespoke menu of creative spritz cocktails.
While sipping on delicious drinks and enjoying authentic dishes from the restaurant menu, guests can grab a group of friends and head in from 12pm – 3pm to dabble in traditional Mexican games, with the chance to win exciting prizes!
Try your luck at Loteria, a game of chance that is like Bingo but with illustrations on a deck of cards instead of numbers, or Pirinola, a game that includes a spinning top with six sides with a message or direction written on each. There’s something for every tequila lover!
Jose Cuervo’s, Tequila, Now! pop-up is R18 and with extra festivities taking place on Sunday 6th, 13th and 20th November between 12pm-3pm.
