TE PUA AT SILO PARK is a special celebration of art, performance, kai and culture on the waterfront.
This weekend Silo Park will come to life with a range of FREE activities and experiences for the whole whānau to enjoy!

WHAT'S ON:

LIVE MUSIC!
Come down to Silo Park this Saturday 13th March and get your saang on with the fabulous BELLA KALOLO. Then on Sunday 14th head down and feel the funk with LAUGHTON KORA. There's also a LIVE DJ all day!

CARVING AND WEAVING
Mana whenua rōpu, Ngati Pāoa Toi Arts, kaiwhakaairo (carvers) will carve a traditional ocean going waka and kairāranga (weavers) will fabricate the sails with the fine art of rāranga. Materials supplied. Interactive/Free

MAKE MANU AUTE (Coastal bird kites) with Ō Te Motu Creations.
Make beautiful manu (bird) kites. Materials supplied. Interactive/Free

KŌRERO & SCREEN PRINTING
Kōrero from Master Navigator Tua Pittman and voyager Numa Mackenzie. Kōrero at 11am, 12.30pm and 2pm. Screen-print ancient patterns on a bag to take home. Bags supplied. Interactive/Free

HEALING LOUNGE
With Te Piha Romiromi Hauora Lounge.
Prem Piripi Morunga and Tia Reihanas' gifts bring us Māori and Maoli (Hawai'ian) healing with pani (balms). A gentle space to be healed in. $40 per session.

ART INSTALLATION
Charles and Janine Williams' showcase a stunning installation of their works, embracing the coastal bird narrative.

MĀORI ARTS AND CRAFT MARKET
Markets running all day with the stunning offerings of some of our top Māori artisans plus delicious kai!

FOOD TRUCKS AND THE SILO PARK BAR

You can also catch the LIVE RACE coverage on the big screen each day between 4 and 6pm.
