For this one special night, we invite you to join Joel Bickford of legendary Sydney waterside restaurant Aria and Gareth Stewart to celebrate incredible fine natural bounty at one of Auckland’s most iconic waterfront restaurants Euro.

Aria, the fine dining flagship of Matt Moran’s Restaurant Empire has held two of the Sydney Morning Herald Good Food Guide Chef Hats since 2013 positioning it firmly in the top echelons of modern Australian food culture. This event features, 5 courses expertly matched to wines plus modestly named “snacks” to start.

Joel has made a rapid progression in the Australian dining scene, notably as head chef of award winning Biota Dining (2 Hats) and The Gantry (1 Hat). For Matt Moran, selecting Joel to head up his signature restaurant Aria is no small recognition of his abilities. Moran now oversees 29 venues of the Solotel group and it is Joel who keeps the Aria menu at the cutting edge of the hugely competitive Sydney scene.

Your evening starts at Euro’s iconic long bar looking out over the water and historic ships of the Maritime Museum. One of New Zealand’s flagship cuvées, Deutz Prestige, will be poured on arrival and the chefs will introduce each dish. Part of this adventure is exploring ingredients you would not easily find on shop shelves or in our restaurants and Joel’s menu has such items peppered the whole way through the night.
