Sharpening Class (Double Edge for Beginners)
Enhance your culinary skills with Wonder Journal's sharpening class designed for both enthusiasts and those struggling with their knife skills. Bring a knife or two and a sharpening stone if you have one; they'll provide stones for those who don’t.
The main objective will be to share the importance of noticing and awareness of key details.
1. Introduction to sharpening. Light introduction on material, compound and characteristics of stones and the Importance of flattening.
2. Learning the structure of knife, angles, finger position, posture and movement.
3. Sharpening
4. Questions and small talks.
Park for $2 per hour at the Downtown car park to a maximum of $15 on evenings and weekends. Find out more.
